Origin of the Lawyer's Day in El Salvador
The Salvadoran Lawyer's Day was born thanks to the Legislative Assembly that on June 5, 1984; being José Napoleón Duarte, president at that time, through Decree No. 108, declares that every June 30 the Day of the Law Professional or Lawyer's Day is celebrated from that same year.
This date is celebrated because, as considered by the Assembly, the lawyer is a professional of vital importance for the development of the country in the social, economic and political spheres. In addition, this ensures that the principle of legality and legal security is complied with in all aspects and contexts.
